Why It Is More Effective To Use Bed Bug Dog Boston Handlers

By Etta Bowen

Bedbugs are among the most difficult pests to eliminate in premises. Apparently, these pests have resurged after vanishing for about 50 years. Premises owners are now having difficult times to control these pests. When they invade premises, the owners have to take appropriate measures to get rid of them. Using bed bug dog Boston handlers to inspect premises can offer accurate results within a short time and for less amount of money.

Visual inspections tend to consume a lot of time and they can be costly if you are inspecting large premises. Consider a situation where you want to inspect an entire hotel premise with hundreds of rooms or an apartment that has several storey buildings. If you are going to use visual inspection, you will spend a lot of money and take too long to complete the task.

If you allow the population to increase, it will cost you more to do away with them. Visual inspection has been used for a long time and although it yields results, it is not as effective as using canines. It requires a lot of time and money to do visual inspection. However, canines can inspect premises within a short time and provide accurate results.

The dogs should also be trained and certified in order for you to get accurate results. It is not uncommon to hear of cases where the canines have failed to give an alert of bugs when in the real sense there are bugs. In other times, the canines have provided false alerts where they confuse bugs for other insects like beetles.

When choosing a bedbug dog handler, ensure they are trained and the canines are trained and certified. The way in which the canines are handled can determine the results of an inspection. When poorly handled or not trained properly, they will not provide accurate results. Cases of missed bug detection have occurred because the dogs are not trained properly or the handlers do not know how to handle their dogs.

There should be no vested interest in offering treatment from the handler as this could easily encourage cheating. Bugs are moved to other premises in various ways. People who travel often and spend their time in hotels could pick such pests from those premises and transfer them to their homes or even other hotel rooms.

If you wait until the population has multiplied, you will have hard time in controlling it. You might have to spend a lot of money as well as time on the inspection process. Also, consider using different parties to handle the inspection and extermination separately. You do not want to use a dog handler who has a vested interest in offering extermination procedure.

For effective extermination of bugs, ensure you detect them before they have multiplied in population. Premises owners are not just using canines to inspect their premises because they are suspicious. The property owners are even doing it as a proactive measure to ensure their premises are not invaded by bugs. It can be done a routine task to keep bugs away.
